Many people think that energy saving light bulbs cannot produce the same output as traditional incandescent bulbs. What they do not know is that energy saving bulbs can actually reproduce the light output of incandescent bulbs by using only a fifth of the power required. They also replicate the color of light produced by traditional bulbs.
There are those who are concerned about how energy saving bulbs can fit aesthetically in their homes. The truth is these bulbs are not ugly at all. They even come in different bulb styles like classic, spotlights, and candles. They can also fit in all four traditional caps: Edison screw, small Edison screw, bayonet, and small bayonet, as well as in MR16, PAR, GU10, and even in the most ornate fittings.
In terms of health and safety, energy saver light bulbs also pass quality standards. They do not trigger epileptic fits – unlike what most people believe. New models of these energy efficient bulbs run on a high frequency that they do not have any known health impact.
When energy efficient light bulbs first became available in the market, many people did not believe that they can replace incandescent lights. Today, many are still apprehensive about using energy saver light bulbs but by making the rest of the world aware of their potential, people will eventually realize that they are better off with this kind of lighting than traditional ones. Just imagine having better lighting at just the fraction of the required energy.
